The Story

Vision

By God’s will, we will plant spiritual seeds and start spiritual fires, offer hope and give grace, we will take risks, serve together, worship together, play together, experience life together and dream dreams all for the Kingdom of God.

Strength

Parkside Baptist church was planted in Kenosha in 1955.  The name of the church then was Mid-City Baptist Church.  Throughout the early and present years, the church has grown.  Growth brings on change and the church moved.  The name was changed to Parkside Baptist Church in 1967.

Power

We believe in God the Father, His Son and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  We follow the voice of our Lord and seek wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit for our church and our daily lives.  The Bible tells us that we are all sinners (Romans 3:23) but we can overcome any obstacle through Christ (Philippians 4:13).  No one is perfect, nor is our church, but we live with love for God and our congregation and all peoples through the strength of our Lord God!
